MoyiNote is a private baby journal app for families to record milestones, photos, and stories. This page explains what information the app handles and how it's used. MoyiNote does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
If you use MoyiNote without signing in to a family account, everything you enter — photos, notes, milestones — is stored only on your device using local storage. It is never uploaded anywhere, and we have no access to it.
If you sign in to create or join a family account, the following information is stored securely with our backend provider, Supabase:
This information is only visible to people you've explicitly invited into your family space. There is no public feed, no discovery feature, and no way for anyone outside your family to view your content.
When you choose to add a photo, the app requests access to your photo library so you can select an image. Photos you add are stored either on your device (local-only mode) or in your family's private storage (family account mode). We use photo date metadata (EXIF), when available, only to help auto-date journal entries.
You can export your family's entries and photos at any time from Settings → Data & Portability, and permanently delete your data from Settings → Danger Zone. Deleted data is removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.
MoyiNote is designed to be used by parents and guardians to record information about their own children — it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. All content is entered by the adult account holder.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data is only shared with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, solely to provide the app's core storage and sign-in functionality.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
